From the moment you choose your play to the time the audience arrives the director’s journey is unique and often unknown.

This workshop is the chance to increase your confidence and ability to direct coherently. Thankfully every director is different but no matter what the vision, voice or interpretation of a director there are skills that can be sharpened and important questions explored.

This is a practical workshop led by Kate Gaul. Come dressed to move, bring your imagination and questions.
Kate has established herself as a distinctive and inventive director, with directing credits including plays, opera, physical theatre, devised works, and classics for theatre companies and schools in Australia. She is Artistic Director of Siren Theatre Co where her passion for text-based drama challenges artists and audiences to have bold imaginative experiences.
