Conditions of Entry

Wollondilly Shire Council (WSC) has established these Conditions of Entry to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone visiting and using the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre (WPAC). These conditions apply to all areas of WPAC, including:

  • Public Areas (foyer and bar)
  • Performance areas (Auditorium and Studio)
  • Function Kitchen and Food Service areas
  • Back of House areas (Dressing Rooms and Green Room)

These conditions are subject to change at any time at our discretion.

Definitions

  • We, Us, WSC: Refers to Wollondilly Shire Council and its employees, agents, officers, or other representatives.
  • You, Your: Refers to you and anyone in your party, including children under your supervision.

Summary

  • Entry at Your Own Risk: Entry onto the premises is at your own risk.
  • Compliance: You must follow these Conditions and the reasonable directions of WSC staff, as well as any signage.
  • Respect: Treat all visitors, staff, artists, and theatre users with respect at all times.
  • Right to Refuse Entry: We reserve the right to deny entry or remove anyone from the premises.

Your Belongings

  • You are responsible for your belongings at all times.
  • Do not leave bags or personal items unattended.

Prohibited items (which must be surrendered if requested):

  • Illicit substances
  • Dangerous items (e.g., weapons, fireworks)
  • Professional cameras, GoPros, iPads
  • Glass or aluminium containers
  • Liquids, aerosols, or inhalers
  • Glow sticks, laser pointers, selfie sticks
  • Food or alcohol (unless advised otherwise)

We reserve the right to:

  • Inspect and search you and your belongings
  • Require bags to be stored in our cloakroom
  • Deny entry or remove you from the premises (without refund) if you refuse to comply with these conditions

Other Conditions

  • No smoking or e-cigarettes inside the premises or near entryways
  • No unauthorised photography or recording
  • No outside food or drink, including alcohol
  • No hot food or drinks in the auditorium unless provided during serviced functions
  • Alcohol consumption and purchase is restricted to those 18+ years
  • No animals, except registered assistance animals
  • No entry to non-public areas
  • No bicycles, motorcycles, or motorised scooters without permission

Liability

Entry to the premises is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WSC will not be liable for any loss, damage, harm, or injury arising from your entry to the premises.

Health Regulations and COVID-19

You must comply with any applicable health regulations, including any special terms related to COVID-19.

Your Behaviour

You must not:

  • Cause property damage or pose a safety risk
  • Unreasonably interfere with other audience members’ enjoyment (e.g., using mobile phones)
  • Behave in a disorderly, intoxicated, or unlawful manner
  • Be rude or aggressive toward staff or visitors

Children

Children under 15 must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times while on the premises.

Over 18 Events

Only individuals aged 18+ will be admitted to events designated as "Over 18."

Use of Your Image & Security Recordings

  • You consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded and for these recordings to be used by us in any format.
  • Security cameras operate on the premises, and you may be filmed for security purposes.

Admission to Events

  • You must have a valid ticket to attend any event and provide proof of entitlement if using a concession ticket.
  • Once an event has started, you may only be admitted or re-admitted during a suitable break and may be directed to a different seat.

Safety and Assistance

  • Entry and exit points will be clearly marked, and staff will assist with movement throughout the premises.
